We usually keep several vehicles under $10,000 on the lot, and every listing shows our dealer fees itemized under the vehicle price, so you can add up the price and fees before you visit. Inventory turns over, so the fastest way to know what is available today is to look at the list or call us.
What the price does and does not include
This is where most budget car shopping goes wrong. A car advertised at $8,500 can become $9,300 by the time fees are added, and plenty of lots do not tell you that until the paperwork.
Our listed price is the vehicle price before dealer fees. The fees are shown on every listing: $695.00 documentation, $28.25 title and $29.00 smog test, $752.25 in total. State and local tax, license and registration are added on top of that and depend on where you live and what you are buying. Ask us for the out-the-door number before you come in and we will give it to you.
Buying under $10,000 without buying a problem
- Mileage matters less than maintenance. A 140,000-mile car with records beats a 90,000-mile car nobody serviced.
- Ask what was done to it. We recondition what we sell and we will tell you what we did.
- Budget for fees, tax and registration on top of the listed price. Our dealer fees add $752.25, so a car listed at $9,500 comes to $10,252.25 before tax, license and registration.
- Drive it. Then drive it on the freeway, not just around the block.
Financing a lower-priced car
Cheaper cars are not automatically easier to finance — some lenders set minimum loan amounts or limit vehicle age. Because we work with several lenders instead of one, we have a better chance of finding one that fits the car and your situation. Financing is subject to lender approval. If your credit is rough, start at bad credit financing.

Is the advertised price negotiable?
Talk to us. We price to move rather than to leave room for a long negotiation, but the conversation is always worth having in person.
