Charlie Cheap Car

Used Ford for Sale in Las Vegas

Ford is the make we carry most. Most of our Fords are working trucks and vans, F-150 and F-250 Super Duty pickups and Transit cargo vans, along with Mustangs, Escapes and Fusions when good ones come in. Here is every Ford on our lot today, with photos, mileage and the price before dealer fees.

Charlie Cheap Car has sold used cars and trucks in Las Vegas for 25 years. We are family owned and veteran owned, open seven days a week, and we work with several lenders, including for self-employed buyers, contractors and first-time buyers. Financing is subject to lender approval.

Which Ford fits the job

  • F-150: the half-ton pickup most people mean when they say "truck". A daily driver during the week that tows a boat or a camper on the weekend. Newer ones have a V6, the 5.0-liter V8 or a turbocharged EcoBoost V6, which pulls like a V8; how much fuel it saves depends on how hard you drive. F-150s from 2015 on have an aluminum-alloy body, which is lighter than steel and will not rust the way steel does.
  • F-250 Super Duty: three-quarter-ton, for heavy trailers, fifth wheels, equipment and a bed that is loaded every day. Gas V8 and V10 engines, or a Power Stroke turbo diesel for anyone who tows heavy and often.
  • Transit: Ford's full-size van since 2015. The number is the load rating (150, 250 and 350, lightest to heaviest), and it comes with a low, medium or high roof and in regular or extended length. Most people can stand up inside a high-roof Transit.
  • Transit Connect: a small van that parks anywhere and is light on gas. Good for cleaners, couriers and anyone who carries tools rather than materials. The passenger version seats five or seven.
  • Cars and SUVs: the Mustang (the V8 GT or the turbocharged four-cylinder EcoBoost, coupe or convertible), the Fusion midsize sedan, including hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions, the compact Escape SUV and the small, thrifty Fiesta.

What to check on a used Ford

  • A cold start. Ask to start the engine cold. On an EcoBoost or a high-mileage V8, a rattle in the first few seconds is worth asking about.
  • Towing and hauling wear. Look at the hitch receiver, the bed and the rear springs. A worn hitch tells you more than the odometer.
  • The cargo area on a van. Holes from shelving or a ladder rack are normal. Water stains on the floor or headliner, or a dented roof, are not.
  • Diesel trucks. On a Power Stroke, check the diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) gauge, make sure no warning lights stay on, and ask for service records. Diesel repairs cost more than gas.
  • Heat wear. Las Vegas summers age tires, batteries, belts and hoses quickly, and an A/C that feels fine in October may not keep up in July. See buying a used car that can handle Las Vegas heat.
  • Open recalls. Enter the VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls. Recall repairs are free at any Ford dealer.

Common questions

Are you a Ford dealership?

No. Charlie Cheap Car is an independent used car dealership. We choose and price our own used Fords alongside other makes. For factory warranty work or recall repairs, any Ford dealer can help.

Can I trade in my truck?

Yes, even one you still owe money on. See Trade Your Car.

Can I finance a Ford with bad credit?

Often, yes. We work with lenders who look past a credit score, including after a repossession and for first-time buyers. Financing is subject to lender approval. See bad credit car loans.

Is the Ford I saw online still there?

Our inventory changes every week. Call (702) 471-1549 before you drive over and we will confirm it is still on the lot.
